Now that the holiday season is over and we’re heading towards spring, I am always looking for closet staples that can be worn both now and later. It’s so nice to have pieces in your closet that can transition from end of winter and into the beginning of spring. Today I’m sharing a few of my favorites with you all from Nordstrom. You girls know that Nordstrom has always been such an easy one stop shop for me, and so many of these pieces are go-to’s that I’ve had for YEARS and continue to reach for each season.

I’ve always loved wearing white year round, and this is a perfect time to reach for your white denim! The ones I’m wearing are some of the comfiest that I own and they come in petite inseams which I definitely appreciate. Pairing white denim with a chunky sweater is a great way to dress for current cooler temps but still feel a little spring-ish. Layer it under your fav jacket and you’re good to go. 

Great layering pieces are key for me as we transition into Spring. Here’s a breakdown of my top four that are closet must haves for me!

  1.  Utility jacket // This one is a longtime favorite that I reach for constantly- it can be layered with a cozy sweater on chilly days or just a tee when it’s warmer outside. It runs true to size, I have the XS.
  2. Denim Jacket // I love a good denim jacket and this one is right on trend with the oversized boyfriend fit. I suggest getting your true size, and sizing down if between sizes.
  3. Suede Moto Jacket // I always get so excited to wear this jacket! It is the prettiest color and such a great piece to wear both day and night. Thrown over a simple tee shirt during the day or a lace cami for an evening out, it’s an instant outfit!
  4. Faux Leather Jacket // Another great transition piece. It’s great to layer with a sweater and scarf now and wear it into the spring with a tee or a dress. This one is currently on sale and an easy way to make any outfit look more chic! It runs true to size.
